They got killed off too quickly. I was growing to like Black Dwarf too, since he seems like a no-nonsense kind of guy with no intelligible speech with a huge ass pickaxe? hammer? anchor since it has chains? and huge ass biceps. He put up a good fight against Banner, Black Panther and Iron Man. injustice 2 joker costumes
I left Civil War with a great deal of admiration for Rhodey. He seemed like the only character who supported the Accords because it was the right thing to do(both from a moral and a legal perspective) and not out of self-loathing (like Tony) or as a necessary evil (like Natasha and Vision). He paid the greatest price among the cast for standing up for his beliefs, and nevertheless said at the end of the film that he regretted nothing. For all those reasons, he stood out to me as the most heroic character in the movie.
Flash-forward to Infinity War, and in the first half-hour all of that is flushed down the drain. The government is evil and stupid, the Accords are to blame for everything wrong in the Universe, and Colonel James Rhodes regrets ever signing up to respect the chain of command and the rights of sovereign nations. green arrow and black canary costumes
Never mind that cooperating with the government could have put ten thousand guns and five hundred tanks in Wakanda waiting for the Outriders and won the battle with trifling ease. (Not to mention they probably wouldn’t have stupidly balked at sacrificing Vision and destroying the Mind Stone.) Instead, because Rhodey blew off 117 sovereign nations and joined the “we know better than literally everyone else” crew, the battle would have been lost if not for Thor.
I mean, I get that the writers are Team Cap, that’s been glaringly obvious ever since Civil War. But do they have to rub our face in it like that? It gets really bloody annoying. black canary costumes
