Do you feel sad with Avengers:Infinity War's End

Okay, so here’s a different perspective towards the movie that might help you enjoy the ending a lot more-

Now I know that is a very wrong assumption to make. I also know that this is, in all probability, not the correct way even the makers of this movie wanted us to think.

But this mode of thought works.

Imagine how the ending must have felt if you knew there was going to be no more Avengers 4, no more franchise extensions; this is the end of the line for Parker, most of the Guardians, Strange, and T’Challa.

Imagine how the ending of Avengers: Infinity War must have felt like if each entry in the MCU would simply come out, with no reveals on who has their franchises and who’s coming next.

Suddenly, Peter saying “Mr. Stark… I don’t feel so good… I don’t want to go, Mr. Stark.” (always Mr. Stark; even in his dying moments, not lacking at all in respect) while falling into Tony’s arms and disintegrating becomes one of the most gut-wrenching moments in all of cinematic history.

That’s how these stories have to be felt. As individual stories that each constitutes a point of no return. Right now, there is no way in sight to get them back. And this means all of them are dead.

Of course, that’s not what the filmmakers thought would happen when they filmed or wrote this, since they knew the sequels had been announced. But the way the deaths were presented, they definitely tried to make it look like it had stakes, even though there really weren’t any for most of the viewing audience. black canary costumes

That being said, there’s really nothing wrong with looking at the movies as if they were what they’re presented as. To think that those deaths truly are irreversible, and that this really is the first indication of the fact that Carol Danvers is coming. Essentially, the ending was only disappointing because you know those characters are coming back - and all that would not be the case had this movie possessed the ideal impact the makers wish it had.
