Is the Avengers: Infinity War overrated?

It's difficult to truly say….

Effectively yes…. Because even though it's done exactly what it set out to do and has fulfilled what the fans wanted to see almost to a fucking tee… The core fans are not the only people watching this movie. red arrow costume for sale

I have a feeling that for people who have not seen much of the other films, especially if they haven't seen Thor Ragnarok, this movie will probably be a heckuva lot more confusing as a casual than the previous films have been. gamora guardians of the galaxy cosplay

But because the movie is on such a huge scale…. And the money its going to make is fucking insane….. That means there's pretty much guarantees to be a great many hundreds of thousands of people in the world who really hate this movie.

It's the same issue faced by Star Wars - These two franchise's are watched by EVERYBODY - NOT literally, but there are enough people in the world of all different walks of life who watch these franchises that some are bound to be disappointed, because St the same time both franchises

Are extremely fucking nerdy and probably alienate people who don't religiously follow every single episode.

My response to this is “Well, just watch the fucking movies” - but of course there's like.. What? 19 or them now including the new one?

Not to mention, focusing on the actual core fans - that there is a high likelihood for disappointment with anything you build up and hype up for nearly ten straight years.

There will be moments that you've waited since avengers in 2012 for that are pulled off fucking perfectly. There may be moments which grind your gears of but don't detract from the whole film.

Like, for me… the time stone would have come in handy as fuck of a lot sooner… like… as soon as Strange knows there's a spaceship… ItIt's a flick of the wrist…. It's send the ship back into space. Its follow the spaceship and discover Thanos is killing asgardians.. IIt's use the time stone again, turn Thanos into a baby… step on thanos or something and take the stones… but the film would have been over too quickly… so moving on… young justice costumes

There might be moments that don't happen exactly as you expected it - But it's not quite as “This isn't gonna go the way you think” - as Last Jedi Was - That movie ripped the rug of theories out completely and just sat thee like “sorry not sorry” as the whole world lost their mind.

This one does pretty much what you would expect from the source material… whilst adding fresh and interesting surprises…and for that I think it has managed to surpass Last Jedi, at the very least, in being able to provide a crowd pleasing movie which also does a great deal to subvert expectations and keep its viewership guessing.
